Design

Implementing a full garden redesign can be a significant investment in your property.
We offer designs and packages to suit all requirements and budgets.

The design process is broken down as follows.

Stage A : Consultation

Firstly we will arrange a meeting to visit your garden and discuss what you require. On
average this meeting lasts for around an hour. If you have any ideas or pictures from
magazines etc, which you would like us to incorporate, please have them ready, this
will help us to understand your requirements.
Following this visit we will compile a brief of these requirements which we will send to
you with a fixed fee quote for the design work.

Stage B : Site Survey

During the second visit we will survey and accurately measure the garden, house and
any outbuildings, we will also check soil quality and PH conditions along with any
unusual aspects of your garden. We will also take detailed photos.

Stage C : Design

After we have drawn up the survey and site analysis of your garden we will present you
with a detailed coloured master plan and a 3D scale drawing.
For some clients this may be the end of the process, but as a rule most clients tend to
implement our services for the final stage. If you choose to use Green Gecko Gardens
for the final stage, 40% of the design fee will be subtracted from the total cost.

Stage D : Construction and planting

We will now construct your garden for you from the agreed design using a mix of hard
and soft landscaping.This may involve site clearance and waste disposal right through
to planting plans, plant sourcing and planting. We work with a vast range of nurseries
and other related companies both in the U.K and abroad.
Quotations for planting plans and supply of plants can be provided before work
commences.
